Well I don't have a lot to say about this movie. The dialogue was very cheesey. The cast was great. The dialogue really got me though. It wasn't believable, I never hear people talk the way they do. Then again, that's what makes it different from all the others right?
When I first saw the previews I thought that it was a vampire movie. Wrong!
SPOILER ALERT!!
Two friends Jennifer (Megan Fox) and Needy (Amanda Seyfried) go to a concert and stuff goes haywire. The bar the show was held in burns down. Jennifer hitches a ride with the band and comes back different.. Needy knows something happened to her friend but doesn't know what? Mysterious murders start happening and make Needy paranoid. Jennifer isn't the same.
The band sacrificed Jennifer to push their career ahead, only thing was they thought she was a virgin. Apparently when you sacrifice someone who isn't a virgin to the devil, they become a bloodthirsty demon.
Worth your time if there isn't anything else good to watch. I really liked it but I just couldn't get over the corny dialogue. Not the worst but not the best.
I give it 6/10.

Law Abiding Citizen
Tuesday, April 13, 2010
I got the chance to watch Law Abiding Citizen the other day and it was great!
The beginning will make you cringe a little. Which will immediately draw you in! Clyde Shelton (Gerald Butler) has nothing left to lose because he has already lost everything.. everything that matters. (His family.) All he wants is some justice. However, when his lawyer ,Nick Rice,(Jamie Foxx), becomes more concerned in his conviction rate that a man's last bit of faith in life, you find yourself watching a war between right and wrong. The lawyer realizes that there is more to having a great reputation.. but at what cost?
This movie had a lot of very clever moments- which made it fun to watch! A few twists pop up here and there. Especially the end. The end could have been better I will admit that, I wish it hadn't been so abrupt. Nonetheless, definitely worth a watch for those who enjoy a good crime-thriller.
I would rate it 8/10.

I don't know about you, but I have been aching for a new Jim Carrey movie.. at last we have one!
In his new movie Jim plays a family man, Steve Russell, whose life changes after a car accident. He realizes he's gay! With his new outlook on life, he becomes very extravagant and can't afford his lifestyle. He becomes a con man and gets sent to prison. Where he falls in love with a fellow inmate Phillip Morris ( Ewan McGregor).
That's the short and sweet of it. What I saw of the trailer it looks like it will be worthwhile. It has comedy, romance and I thought I sensed some dramatic traits? Not sure though. Kind of seemed like a tug of war between these two's relationship in the movie?
I have my fingers crossed for this one, sounds promising!

I will admit the first movie did make me wish that another one come out soon! And it has! Twilight Saga New Moon is the newest installment. When Edward leaves Bella, she becomes very depressed. Jacob a friend from Bella's childhood lends a crying shoulder for her and she still can't get over Edward. Bella learns new secrets about Edward and Jacob.
I will tell you what from the preview it looks even better then the first installment! Definitely has a lot more emotion and passion than the first! Can't wait!
Here is the trailer enjoy!

What a great movie Brothers looks like! I saw the preview at night and just couldn't stop watching. How horrible it'd be to think that your husband is dead and then fall in love with his brother! Only to find that your husband comes back! Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey McGuire are the brothers, and Natalie Portman plays the wife.
When a decorated Marine goes missing overseas, his black-sheep younger brother cares for his wife and children at home—with consequences that will shake the foundation of the entire family. BROTHERS tells the powerful story of two siblings, thirtysomething Captain Sam Cahill (Tobey Maguire) and younger brother Tommy Cahill (Jake Gyllenhaal), who are polar opposites. A Marine about to embark on his fourth tour of duty, Sam is a steadfast family man married to his high school sweetheart, the aptly named Grace (Natalie Portman), with whom he has two young daughters (Bailee Madison, Taylor Grace Geare). Tommy, his charismatic younger brother, is a drifter just out of jail who’s always gotten by on wit and charm. He slides easily into his role as family provocateur on his first night out of prison, at Sam’s farewell dinner with their parents, Elsie (Mare Winningham) and Hank Cahill (Sam Shepard), a retired Marine.-www.iamrogue.com
